This painting belongs in the home of a woman who has fought her way back to herself... A woman who has carried more than most people will ever know... Who has survived chapters that changed her, lost pieces of herself along the way, and slowly learned how to find them again.

She has spent seasons holding everything together, being what everyone else needed her to be, and is learning that strength can also look like softness, stillness and letting go.

She is more than a painting to me.

I painted her during many chapters of my own healing and finally finished her during a time of coming back to myself, finding space to breathe gain, and remembering who I am underneath all the noise.

This painting represents the feeling of allowing everything else to disappear, just for a little while, so you can simply be.

And, because of that, she will always be a very special piece of my story.

My hope is that she finds the woman who feels something when she looks at her. Maybe she represents a chapter you've already survived. Maybe you're still finding your way through it.  Or maybe she simply reminds who of the woman you've become.

Whatever she comes to mean to you, I hope she becomes part of your story too.
